Watson Fothergill was an architect who worked in Nottingham at the end of the 19th century/ Beginning of the 20th century. His influences seem to have been gothic churches and Black Forest chateaux. There are many of his distinctive buildings around Nottingham.http://www.watsonfothergill.co.uk/

In China they fish by using Cormerants that have their throats restricted so they can't swallow (I think) and they have to drop the fish into baskets. When they've done a good nights fishing the fishermen let them have one for wages. We're a hard species....
Not as well known as Stonehenge but nearly as impressive and I think cover a wider area, these megaliths are impressive because they are so remote.(OK I know that the people of Lewis don't find them remote but the rest of us do) Who can afford the ferry price from Uig to Lewis?
